Eighteen teams compete across two championships running side by side. Men’s: 12 teams in two pools of six; each team plays every other team in its pool once, and the top four in each pool go through to the quarter-finals. There are seven accessible toilets throughout the arena, available on every level. A Changing Places toilet is available in the adjoining building – a short, level, covered route away – with a height-adjustable adult changing bench, a hoist system, space for up to two carers and a non-slip floor. Stewards will help you get there; venue staff cannot assist inside the Changing Places facility.

Yes, assistance dogs are welcome, and there is space for them in the accessible seating bays.

Motorised scooters are permitted in the public areas of the arena, and scooters are available to hire from the venue. Contact the venue guest experience team in advance to arrange this.

Hearing induction loops are available, and the box office counters marked with the international symbol for deafness have a hearing assistance system. Accessible bays are available in the on-site Kings Dock Car Park, and free blue badge spaces are available on-street around Liverpool. A vehicle and accessible taxi drop-off point is on Monarchs Quay, a short, level distance from the arena entrance, with staff on hand to assist.

Event presentation will include lighting and sound effects. Signage will be displayed at the venue, and if you have a condition affected by flashing lights or loud noise you’re encouraged to get in touch before you attend for details.

Please travel light. Bags larger than A4 (21 x 29cm) are not permitted, and there are no bag storage or left luggage facilities on site. One small bag per person is allowed and will be searched. Exemptions apply for medical items and for changing bags for babies and young children. A clear bag makes the search quicker.

Prohibited items include: large bags and suitcases; glass, cans and metal bottles; food and drink; alcohol and illegal substances; flares, fireworks, smoke devices and laser pens; professional cameras, video and audio recording equipment, GoPros and selfie sticks; knives, weapons and sharp implements; large or metal-tipped umbrellas; air horns and other noise-makers; flags or banners on poles; aerosols; confetti and glitter; and masks or helmets that cover the face. This list is not exhaustive and staff may refuse any item that affects other spectators’ enjoyment or safety.

Search and screening is a condition of entry. The venue uses AI-based screening technology, so there is no need to empty your pockets or bag – just follow the team’s directions. You may be asked for an additional search at a search table. Police officers and detection dogs may also be on site.

No food or drink may be brought in, other than small packed food for young children or for medical reasons, at staff discretion. You can bring an empty reusable bottle and fill it at the water points inside – full, glass or metal bottles are not permitted.

Liverpool Lime Street is the nearest mainline station – around a 20-minute signposted walk or push to the arena, on level-access pavements with crossings at every point. Alternatively transfer at Lime Street onto the Merseyrail Wirral Line to James Street station, a 10-minute walk or push from the venue; this transfer is usually included in the cost of a mainline ticket. The Liverpool ONE bus station is a five-minute walk or push from the arena, and national coaches arrive at Queen Square bus station near Lime Street. The CityLink service runs a circular route stopping at both Lime Street and the arena. All Merseyside buses are wheelchair accessible.

There are around 1,450 spaces in the on-site Kings Dock Car Park, on a first-come, first-served basis, with accessible bays and electric charging points on every floor. Yes. Cycle parking is on the river side of the venue at ground level, for push-bikes only. Liverpool has a network of cycle routes into the waterfront, and bikes can be taken free of charge on Merseyside trains and ferries outside peak hours.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is around 20 minutes from the city centre by taxi, or 25 minutes on the Route 500 express bus which drops you a five-minute walk or push from the arena. Manchester Airport has a wider route network and is around an hour away. Direct ferry services run from Ireland to Liverpool, and Eurostar connects mainland Europe to London for onward rail travel.

Your tickets are sent to you by email as print-at-home e-tickets. You can print them or show them on your phone at the entrance. Tickets are issued ahead of the event rather than at the time of booking, so that they carry the final confirmed information. The administration fee covers the cost of running the box office and ticketing service – the contact centre, ticketing system and customer support. The order processing fee is a one-off charge per order covering the cost of issuing and delivering your tickets.

Ticket prices are set at two rates – adult and child – with the child rate held deliberately low so that families can attend together. There is no separate student or senior concession.

Yes. The child price applies to anyone aged 2-15 on the day they attend. Children under 2 do not need a ticket if they sit on an adult’s lap. Anyone aged 16 or over pays the adult price. Proof of age may be requested on entry.

The Founder price is a limited-time offer on the All-Access Pass – £99 adult / £18 child, available from the on-sale on 9 September 2026 until 30 September 2026. From 1 October 2026 the All-Access Pass moves to its standard price of £120 adult / £20 child. It is a time-limited offer rather than a limited number of passes, so it is available to everyone who books before the deadline.

Adult passes start at £60 and child passes at £12. The All-Access Pass is £120 adult / £20 child – and is available at the Founder price of £99 adult / £18 child if you book before the deadline. Full prices are shown at the point of purchase.
